Am I not looking at this forum the right way, or is it just not very good, and if so where is there a better one. Anyway, I'm paying a visit just to express my delight that "The Agatha Christie Hour" is finally to be released on DVD in the UK next month by Fremantle. It can be purchased either as a boxed set, or over five DVDs each containing two stories.

HIYA ! I live in east coast Yamba, New South Wales, Australia where it is rather damp at present.
I am wondering if anyone knows if there is an AC Club in Oz in which I could happily share. I am sooo jealous of your local UK activities, particularly with the 120th anniversary celebrations in September 1020, and wish I could be there.
My collection of AC books is almost complete. Reference points were inside book covers lists and Matthew Bunson's 'The Complete Christie' - An Agatha Christie Encyclopaedia. Latest purchases/pleasures are 'The Secret Notebooks' and 'Akhnaton' thru OZ booksellers online. I am looking for 'Rule of Three = The Patient, The Rats, Afternoon at The Seaside' and 'Fiddlers Three/Five'.

There's a new play on at The Mill at Sonning Theatre, it's an adaptation of Philomel Cottage and it's called Love From A Stranger. The Mill is on the boarder of Oxfordshire and Berkshire on the Thames. The Mill is a great place for groups as it's a restaurant/theatre so dinner, dessert and coffee is included in the ticket price! The show is on from 14 Apr - 22 May. Look out for the 10% discount offer to appear soon on this site for Agatha Christie Fans!

Hey.. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some books similar to The Seven Dials Mystery, The Secret of Chimneys, The Secret Adversary, etc. Those are my favourite books by Agatha Christie, the thriller type ones. I've read a lot of her books, though not all of them.. Are there any others that are like these?

I'm translating BBC documentary "Agatha Cristie Code" into Japanese atthe moment. On the show, Dr. Dahl talked about Agatha's mind before and after missing.
And then there's a marvellous passage where it sounds like she's summing up what the doctors have said to her about perhaps her illusionary condition or something. 'The doctor immediately snorted with contempt. Brain fever! Brain fever! No such thing as brain fever. An invention of novelists’.
Does this quote from 'The Murder of Roger Ackroyd’ or 'The Mystery of the Blue Train'? I couldn't find it... Anybody get to know??
